I don't know why I'm so late to the news but BikeBandit apparently went bankrupt but still kept taking orders even after declaring? Did they get apprehended for that or something? There's about half a mil worth of unfulfilled purchases apparently wow they still went away with cash at least. Also found out that cheapcycleparts aren't functioning anymore. When you do visit, it's just GoDaddy.

Yeah, BikeBandit went belly up in 2022 but still took orders after they filed. They're sitting on around $646K in unpaid orders and haven't faced any charges yet.CheapCycleParts closed down as well their site just redirects to GoDaddy now

Where are you picking up parts these days?

Yeah, that whole BikeBandit situation definitely caused a lot of anger in the community!
It sounds like there's been plenty of fallout, and those unfulfilled orders are a massive headache for everyone involved!
CheapCycleParts seems to have gone out of business too, which is a shame.
If you're looking for alternatives, places like Partzilla, Revzilla, Dennis Kirk, and Rocky Mountain ATV/MC are pretty popular and generally reliable these days.

I know a few people that lost a couple of hundred bucks to bikebandit. Some might say it's not a lot, but that's not the point and I totaly get why they're pissed off that even after years, things are still quiet around this.

A dear friend was out 300 bucks too, and got nothing back, not even a sorry. For me it's the disappearing act that gets to us, way more than the cash
