I got a spark of inspiration from a friend's vintage chopper and thought I'd take a shot at putting a jockey shifter on my Rebel. I decided to skip the foot clutch, too risky for how I ride. Instead, I used a modified drag bar for the shifter and threw in a hand clutch. I took it for a spin around the warehouse, and it feels really stable, even when making slow turns. The setup looks clean and is simple to switch back if I want to.

That's a cool mod, man. Skipping the foot clutch was smart, makes it way more practical for daily riding. As long as the linkage stays tight, you've basically got a clean, reversible setup.
