I just picked up a rebel 500 for my daily commute, my bigger bike's great, but the rebel is way easier to handle in traffic and I've been loving it so far, but I'm looking to upgrade the handlebars to some 10" risers. The problem is, I can't seem to find the right cables for the setup, Honda hasn't been much help, so I was hoping someone here has done something similar and knows where to find longer throttle or brake cables for the rebel 500.

Congrats on the Rebel, you can check out Burly Brand or Motion Pro, they both make extended cables for bar swaps like yours

I have used Motion Pro before and their cables were spot on for a 9" rise, so 10" should be no biggie. You might have to reroute a bit, but it's doable without crazy mods, I swear.

If you're using 10" risers, you'll want to look for brake and clutch lines, as well as throttle cables, that are around 6-8 inches longer than standard. Aside from Motion Pro, also check out, Venhill, or Galfer for custom lengths, since they offer great quality cables for most Hondas.
