Just got my license and built my first bike... a bobber style i've always loved. The build went smoothly with high quality, handmade parts (a bit pricey though, but totally worth it), and everything needed was included. I mostly cruise around town, so the setup is perfect . The ride feels more direct compared to the stock seat, which was softer, but Im really happy with how it turned out. Parts include new handlebars, lighting, mirrors, fender and a stitched BCB seat. Anything i should be thinking of doing next?

Congrats on the build, that's awesome! One thing I'd keep an eye on is the stiffness of that new seat. If you're doing longer rides later, it might cause fatigue or back strain. How's it feeling so far?

Thanks!! I've only done a couple of short rides so far, and the seat feels fine, but i haven't tested it on any long runs yet. Did you end up swapping your seat out for something softer, or did you find a way to make the stiff one work??

Congrats, glad to see people still excited about these kinds of builds. With most things sorted, I'd say focus on the tires and brakes. Not sure if you touched bas on these two, but they're crucial for safety, so I wouldn't skip out on that.

I appreciate the advice, safety is definitely a priority. For the tires and brakes, do you have any recommendations for good options on a 1st time bobber build, or should i just stick with stock replacements?
