I'm planning on swapping the chain on my 2021 Rebel 500 for a belt setup, and I've been thinking of sourcing parts from Cincinnati Belting & Transmission since they carry industrial-grade stuff. Has anyone worked on their Rebels using CBT parts? How was the experience?

you're planning a chain to belt swap? I don't want to rain on your parade but it's too much work and custom fabrication and in my opinion not worth it.

Have you figured out how you'll handle the alignment and tensioning with the CBT setup? I am curious if their pulleys and belts line up well with the Rebel's stock sprocket geometry.

I think swapping to a belt on the Rebel 500 may need some custom fab work to get alignment and tension right. You might want to double-check clearances and sprocket sizing too, it's not a common mod, and yeah it might take a lot of work
